Angie Bowie is a writer and entertainer. She is also style icon, writer & producer. Angie is well- read and informed, independent and self-sufficient. Her cosmopolitan perspective was ensured by her birth place, the island of Cyprus in 1949.
Angie’s father Colonel George M. Barnett was a mining engineer at a copper-mine run by CMC. Mary Angela attended St George’s School in Switzerland, she graduated in 1966, went on to Connecticut College for Women and then back to England in 1967 to study at Kingston Polytechnic.
Angie’s lesbian affair at Connecticut College for Women established her fight and focus on LBGT equality.
I am a writer, an actor, a producer and a promoter. I am also a MOTHER to a boy/man, Duncan Zowie Hayward Jones, who prefers Duncan Jones and is a very successful film director born in 1971 and girl, Stacia Hudson born in 1980, she is married now! and I am a Partner to M, we are together now for 31 years.
Then in 2000 after studying the Internet and with the help of my partner M and a gift from the wonderful Dick Richards of an Angie Bowie Website name I became enchanted with the ability to reach folks all over the world on the Internet.

Fire Drawn Music
For many years, Rick has been collaborating with writer and cultural icon Angie Bowie on several electrifying books, with Angie writing stories and poetry and Rick illustrating her words. The “Creative Combustion” continue as vibrant as ever, with a new book, “Fire Drawn Music”, featuring Rick’s illustrations of musicians and works that inspire them.
